This Isn’t Just Sales Coaching. This Is Reclamation Work.
What I Believe, Who I’m For, and Why Sales Is the Tool for Your Legacy
If You’ve Been Running a Business—But Still Don’t Feel Like a Full-Time CEO… Keep Reading
This is for the woman who’s already out here doing the work.
You’ve started the business. You’ve got paying clients. You know your offer helps people.
But the numbers still don’t add up. Not in the way that would let you walk away from that draining job—or sleep peacefully knowing the bills are always covered.
You’re not lazy. You’re not clueless. And you’re not new.
You’re in that sticky middle ground:
You’ve got receipts, but not reliable revenue.
You’ve got talent, but not time freedom.
You’ve got a business, but it’s still giving side hustle energy—because there’s no system underneath it.
And here’s the part no one says out loud:
Most women in this stage think the problem is marketing. Or visibility. Or maybe even that people “just aren’t buying.”
But I’m here to tell you—gently but truthfully—
The problem is sales. Or more specifically, not having a doable, consistent, aligned sales strategy.
And that’s exactly where we begin.
You’ve Been Trained to Be Everything But a Seller
If you’ve worked in education, social impact, advocacy, or any kind of “do good” work—you already know the unspoken rules.
You show your commitment through degrees.
You prove your value by overdelivering.
You make yourself useful, but never too bold.
And heaven forbid you talk openly about wanting to make more money.
In those spaces, sales is often seen as a dirty word—as if asking to be paid is somehow at odds with wanting to help people.
So you do what many of us were taught to do:
You stay focused on impact. You gather the certifications. You show up and grind quietly.
But your revenue doesn’t match your receipts. And you start wondering what you’re missing.
Here’s the truth that changed everything for me—and now changes everything for my clients:
You weren’t missing motivation. You were missing a sales system that matches how you actually move in the world.
You’ve been trying to build a business without learning how to confidently sell, price, and pitch yourself.
And not because you’re incapable—because you’ve been conditioned to avoid it.
The Day I Was Silenced (And What It Taught Me About Power)
A few years ago, I got into a prestigious program for female founders. On paper, it was exactly what I needed—training, mentorship, community.
But behind the scenes?
I was navigating a lot.
I had just come out of a health crisis, still healing from a hospital stay.
I was raising a young child. Balancing work. Holding a thousand things, like many of us do.
And yet—I was showing up. Fully. On time. Engaged.
One day, during a class, the coach made a bold claim about business growth. I didn’t challenge her—I just asked where the data came from because I wanted to read the source. Simple. Curious. Respectful.
Instead of a thoughtful response, she escalated.
Called in the lead coach.
And in front of the entire cohort, I was told—in so many words—that I had no place questioning the coach.
Now, let me be clear:
That coach had options. Ten different ways she could’ve responded.
But she chose to silence me.
And if you’re a Black woman, you already know the layers to this.
I was still rebuilding my confidence after leaving a toxic work environment. I was trying to reclaim my voice and my value.
And in that moment? I was reminded just how risky it still is to speak up.
What Happens After an Experience Like That?
You play small.
You stop asking questions.
You second guess yourself every time you want to raise your rates or pitch a new service.
You start taking whatever’s offered—because at least it’s something.
And slowly but surely, your business becomes a version of the same system you were trying to escape.
One where your value is invisible, your voice is muted, and your revenue never really reflects your brilliance.
That’s why I don’t just coach people on sales tactics.
I help you reclaim the parts of you that were shut down in rooms like that.
Because what’s stopping your growth isn’t just strategy—it’s what happened to you in spaces that were supposed to support you.
Here’s What I Believe (In Case We’ve Never Met)
-
Sales is a form of leadership, not manipulation.
-
Money expands your mission. Period.
-
You don’t need to become someone else to succeed—you need a system that works for you.
-
Visibility without confidence will drain you. Confidence without strategy won’t pay you.
-
Legacy-building takes structure, not just passion.
